ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi! I'm Jacqueline, the author/illustrator of An Animal's Day Off and the author of How To Hug a Cloud and I Hope You Know. 

My inspiration for writing children's books mostly comes from my two daughters, as my favorite activity as a parent is cuddling up with them at the end of the day and reading them a good book. However, even prior to having kids, publishing a children's book was always a dream of mine. As young as middle school, I was frequently writing poems and short stories with the hope that one day I would have a published children's book.
